Description

Hunted by alien enemies and desperate to survive the invasion, Cade and I are forced into situations we never imagined possible. As danger seems to lurk around every corner and new people enter our lives, we discover that not everything is what it seems and that sometimes the answers we seek may lie in the last place we ever thought to look.

To survive, we all must make a choice, continue to hide or make a stand. But all choices have consequences, and those consequences lead to roads we never thought we'd travel; roads that may divide us in the end. Sacrifices will be made, not everyone will survive, and through it all there is one question driving us all, who will prevail... mankind or the aliens?

I've written 5 star reviews for the first 2 books & I absolutely love the series. BUT in chapter 18 when "Cade" is describing Bethany's beauty, I was so upset when he compared her to Jenna & basically called her less beautiful. It just seemed so unlike him since he absolutely worships her. I don't think they author should've compared her to another female. But anyway still 5 stars that was the only part I hated.

I was doubtful about this book sense I didn't really care for the second but I'm glad I stuck with it. The end was beyond perfect and I literally cried. You won't be disappointed.

^^ LOL!! K, so I read the series, and found it to be a good read. While in the second book, I had figured out Cade's secret long before it's actual reveal, it was still a well put together book. (Other than a few small type-Os and grammatical errors missed by editors and proof readers...)Warning, I did actually she'd tears in book 3!! At times I wished the book at been aimed towards an older audience, so the literature could have been more mature, and there could have been more details in certain portions, like gore or love scenes that had to be kept clean. The characters are relatable, the story is believable, especially with the references to the familiar myths, Gods & Goddesses in the story that ties into our historical background, to create a believable back story. Makes you think..."WHAT IF..." :) It would really make a good movie, IF you could cram all 3 books into one movie. Over all I recommend it. It's different, in a great way. It's part scary, part survival of the fittest, part love story, part heart break, but its ALL unique. Be careful, it's addicting! You may find yourself up all night reading, because the action never stops, telling yourself..."i'll just read one more chapter...!!" :) ENJOY!
