This is a wonderful book that will always be a classic. It is a living symbol of the ability of mankind to change for the better.
What a pleasure, what a treat to read A Christmas Carol aloud the fortnight leading up to Christmas to our 7 year old son. The language is fun and a bit odd for him, the pictures interesting, and he knows the jist already from the muppets version, so it was just a real pleasure for us parents to experience all the original language and not just the most quotable quotes!

I think this book is marvelous. It is the must read book to remind people of what Christmas is really about.
